I dedicate this set of NFL logo illustrations to my yearly fantasy football team who, despite several heroic come-from-behind runs, has yet to win a championship. That’s right folks – I’m the guy you want to invite into your league if your goal is to not only win, but to totally dominate.
At least I’m fairly dangerous with 3d modeling software.
Conceptual NFL logo illustrations
The official NFL logo was a pain in the you-know-what to create a 3d model of. I used FormZ to create these 3d illustrations, and it sometimes has difficulty creating beveled edges on objects that have tight angles and corners.
This logo is full of them! I’m almost ashamed to admit it, but it took far longer to build than I thought it would. I nearly gave up at one point. I managed to work through it though (learning a thing or two about FormZ in the process).
5000 x 3000 px high-resolution JPG versions of these illustrations are available! The full set contains 16 images.
NFL logo background images
It should be noted that the following renderings are mostly intended to be used as background images for banners, presentations, or posters (as opposed to being plain 3d logos hovering in space). This was entirely intentional because I was in need of some background images for some presentation templates.
All of the NFL logos depicted in these stock images are metal or glass – some with a metallic football, and some without.
Just an FYI, the images with footballs in them are incorrect. Those are collegiate footballs as they have stripes on them. You can see in the NFL logo that the ball does not have stripes.
Thanks for letting me know! I guess that just goes to show you how much I actually know about Football. 🙂 I had no idea…
You do tremendous artwork. Could you do the same with our league logo?
Hi Scott.
I saw your silver swirl NFL logo when I was looking for images for my project. I’m learning Android mobile app development and I had used your awesome image for my student project. I hope it’s ok if I used your image and cite your website as a resource for the image. I will be sending you a screenshot on how I implemented the image on the mobile app. Thanks. I like a lot of your images.
Thanks Ralph! Yes, I’m glad you used my image and I hope that it helped. I’d love to see that screenshot!
